This piece was to illustrate how Channel 4 is now the new home of the Great British Bake Off. I had quite a few ideas for this but eventually settled on this idea as I thought it was a clever and playful way of illustrating the news.
Each piece of the Channel 4 logo is made from painted clay that I sculpted myself into the shape of the logo. The clay was then left to dry, photographed and brought into Photoshop so that I could add texture to each individual piece to make it look more like pieces of cake. The editing process took quite sometime as I’m still learning new techniques on Photoshop and it took quite sometime to get the lighting just right but it turned out to be my favourite piece that I created over summer.
